Go Love Others Weekend  - 

Friday - Sunday, October 8th - 10th

This Fall, our theme is WIRED for WORSHIP.  As a result, we have been talking about how we can WORSHIP God everyday by KNOWING, GROWING, and GLOWING for Christ.

GLOW weekend is our way of taking all that we have KNOW about God and all that we have GROWN in our relationship with Christ, and Going and GLOWING for God.

Starting Friday, October 8th through Sunday, October 10th, students are invitied to attend Go Love Others Weekend.

Worship services occur Friday and Saturday evening with our very own 180 worship band leading.  This year, we have invited Shawn Barnard.  Shawn is a dynamic youth communicator who share's God's Word in a relevant and applicable method.

Saturday morning, we will GO and GLOW in our community.  Students will be paired with other adults and will Go Love Others who are in need of help with their home.  Each student will have a chance to truly LOVE OTHERS in a unique and exciting way right here in our back yard.

  All the students meals will be provided throughout the weekend.  Friday night and Saturday night, there will be crazy activties.  Students will compete as teams to earn points as they accomplish different goals through team work.  Students will go home each evening and sleep in their own bed.  The weekend will end Sunday morning at church at 12:00 PM.

 Tell me MORE about What to Bring

1. Bible, pencil, and notepad
2. Clothes they can get dirty and wet in.
3. A friend to share the weekend with.
4. Pair of work gloves.
5. An attitude that's ready to GLOW for God.

What NOT to bring:

1. Ipod or personal listening devices
2. Computers or pocket pc's (Don't bring them)
3. Cheerleading, soccer shorts, or other shorts made of similiar material.
4. Tank tops, sleevless shirts, or shirts w/ unappropriate graphics or terms.
5. Weapons: knives, guns, etc.

Is there anything else I need to Know

1. Cost for weekend is $25
2. Deadline for registration is Sunday, October 1st, 2010.
3. Some students may choose to spend the night at other students homes.  This is fine, but we take no responsibility. This is up to the parents discretion.
4. Price includes 5 meals, worship band and guest speaker, spiritual notebook, t-shirt, and all activities.
5. Must have a 180 Student Ministry release form on file. (This can be downloaded on the FORMS AND REGISTRATION page on our web site.)
6. Must attend Parent and Student meeting at 7:30 p.m. on October 6th at FBC Mountain Home in the Youth Wing.
7. GLOW start time:  Friday, October 8th at 5:30 p.m. 
8. GlOW end Time: Sunday, October 18th at Noon.
