Each  year I look forward to  Fall.  Leaves changing colors, the air feeling cold and crisp, football season begins, huting season is near.  All of these remind me of my favorite seaon of the year.

Each year during the Fall,  my family makes a trip down to Petit Jean State Park for our family reunion as well.  I see aunts, uncles, and cousins that I don't see the rest of the year.  I am always amazed how people change from year to and year.  Life moves so quickly sometimes that it scares me.

One of my favorite verses talks about our relationship with God and His role in the seasons of our life.

Daniel 2:21  says:
 He changes times and seasons;
       he sets up kings and deposes them.
       He gives wisdom to the wise
       and knowledge to the discerning.

I am reminded through this verse that God is in charge of both time and seaons.  He hold the Earth and all that makes it special in His hands.  This same God not only possesses the wisdom that He has to create time and seaons, He also offers it to you and me.

WOW!!! What an incredible thought, that the God of time and seaons, desires to share all that He knows and all that He possesses with us.  At the same time, He can also take it all away.  Look at the verse again, it says, "He sets up Kings and deposes them."  This means that if we choose to overlook the God of the seaons, we miss out on an incredible relationship.

Take time to sit and enjoy the Fall season and find ways to worship Him in the midst of it.  And by the way, while spending time alone with Him, ask Him for some of that wisdom and knowledge He possess and offers to you and me.  James 1:5 says He offers it "generously."

to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
